Who are we?

Started from a bedroom in 2008, 5wire began as a hobby built from scratch by James Ensor. The company has steadily achieved strong growth, differentiating itself by providing high quality, affordable hosting services.

In 2014, 5wire Networks Limited was born to go to the next stage in the journey. The company was incorporated in the United Kingdom as a private limited company, registered under 9105675.

Since the beginning, the growth of the company has been purely based upon referral and word of mouth. This has enabled steady growth, long lasting customers, and a high quality of service to be maintained and provided to our customers.

All of the hardware owned and operated by 5wire Networks is based across multiple data centre facilities in London. As a standard, each server utilises a dedicated 1Gbit Uplink, underpinned by 100Gbps backbone infrastructure to ensure the fastest connectivity and availability for our customers.

Each data centre we operate, operates with ISO500001 accreditations to assist us in
minimising our carbon footprint and impact on the environment.
